Read in Forum about Firmware update for larger Application Partition at Freaktab.
Note that there seems to be a problem with it right now according to the forum.
I have not tried it yet and I am currently to busy.
I am sure that if there is a problem it will be fixed.
I will report back when I get a chance to try this.

-- Go to the Nextbook Website Downloads
-- Go to updates and select Firmware
-- Scroll down to updates and it is there

NOTE: I have done the firmware update successfully with 13 Gbs of application memory as a result. Some of the files on the nextbookusa website may not be good. Try the Directions at Applying Firmware Update post.

Also, I did install the new firmware, the file on nextbook's site is good, and now there is about 13GB available for app install
DeleteThis would be lovely except that the instructions that nextbook includes in the downloads are incorrect. They say to double click on the downloaded file, which I tried, but as a zip file it needs to be extracted first, which you will find out quickly enough. Once unzipped and double clicked upon, there is no such choice as "scatter-loading". There is an application that matches the reference prior to this called "flash_tool" with the matching icon. Unfortunately, when clicked upon this application immediately stops working. If you think you're going to get help from the company, good luck. I mean this IS, after all, their firmware update. In order to initiate a ticket for support you have to have the receipt so no joy there. In short, this is a decent tablet, however, without this firmware update you have a measly 1 gb of space for applications so forget about using it to play many games. Oh btw, forget about finding a screen protector to actually fit it. No one makes one. You have to buy a bigger one and then cut it down which never fits as exactly as a fitted one does. Sheesh, for a little bit more I could've gotten a 7 inch kindle fire and actually had accessories that I could buy for it.

Only android 4.4 at for this tablet as far as I know. I hear there is a way to unlock the rom. Try the freaktab.com forums.
Delete"ES File Explorer" or any good file manager can read files on the sd card. You can get these apps from the Google App Store.
I don't know anything about moving apps. Some apps can place parts so themselves on a sad card.
I know this is a bit old, but is there any way I can get the Firmware update file? The official site leads to 404 page errors, and the only places I can find that has this Tablet's Firmware file just leads to the official site, which again is now leading to 404 pages.
